Orange day

On Orange day, we continued learning by singing songs to help us spell the color word! We read a book called Not Norman about a goldfish, and we learned that red and yellow mixed together make orange!

Red Day

Monday was red day. We loved wearing red and learning about all things red! We learned a song to help us spell the word and read about our favorite big red dog! 

Math Centers

On Friday, we had fun exploring math concepts through different centers! We counted, measured, sorted, and compared!

Technology fun!

We have already been exploring learning through technology! We have begun using the SMARTBoard, iPads, and iPods! Check us out as we learn!

Mat Man!

Today, we met Mat Man, who helped us discuss both line types and how to draw people!  First, we built him, then we drew him! Check out our work!

A Classroom Under "Construction"!

With summer coming to a near-end, I have been working hard to get our classroom ready to be a fun space for learning. For the last 3 years, we have had an owl theme, and before that, we were monkeys. But with a new name, I decided it was time for a new theme too! Well, mostly I just wanted something to do to justify not working on my Master's homework. Regardless.... Here's a sneak peek at our new Seaside Splash and Bubbly Blues! More details to come after next weekend's wedding! Looking forward to an exciting new year in exactly 1 month!
